The works by Vladimir Volkov are presented at the exhibition from the Jubilee
series, that is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the master. This
is the first exhibition of the painter in the Russian museum, that shows his paintings,
graphic works and sculpture. At the exhibitions there are shown works from the collection
of the Russian museum from the cycles “Belting”, “Faces”, “Staircases”, that reflect
the main topics of the creativity of the painter, and the works, that mark the important
periods of the growth of the master’s wooden plastic art, beginning in 1960s.
