The installation of the Lithuanian musician Vladimir Tarasov and the American artist Sarah Flohr will be shown in the Mikhailovsky Garden of the State Russian Museum on 16 June. The installation includes 9 objects floating on the surface of a pond and executed by Sarah Flohr. The exhibits resemble trees, flowers and architectural forms and utter melodious tones. Author’s music by Vladimir Tarasov is specially created for each object. Tones, images and surrounding nature form invisible, but tangible space, which attracts a viewer and makes him feel the main participant of the event. Sarah Flohr and Vladimir Tarasov are the artists of a new formation. They work with visual space forming up their paintings of tones and images in time dimension. The masters try to show art, which is often ulterior, but constantly present in nature.
