St. Michael's Castle

The exhibition housed in St. Michael's Castle presents the works of St. Petersburg artists from the collection of Valery Pustarnakov - collectioner and patron of art. His collection comprises pieces of art of different stylistic trends and genres, but joined by the realistic tradition.

The exhibition includes a variety of paintings, sketches and pastels presenting such genres as landscape (of St. Petersburg and its suburbs and of the Russian North), portrait and still-life performed by the artists V. Brataniuk, I. Varichev, N. Volodimirov, N. Galakhov, V. Zagonek, V. Reichet, N. Repin, I. Savenko, B. Semenov, S. Smirnov, O. Teniaev and others.
