The main purpose of the exhibition devoted to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is to show the facts of war through the eyes of its witnesses and participants in painting, graphic works and sculpture that had been created during those years. The exhibition shows the works of such artists as G. Vereisky, A. Deineka, P. Konchalovsky, P. Kotov, Kukryniksyi, V. Lishev, D. Mochalsky, V. Mukhina, Y. Nikolaev, A.Pakhomov, Y. Pimenov, A. Rusakov, V. Pakulin, I. Serebryanyi, I.Toidze, A.Yar-Kravchenko and others. The exhibition also comprises studies, sketches, photographs and fragments of documentary chronicles that captured the true atmosphere of the war.
