For the first time the exhibition acquaints the Russian viewers with the creative oeuvre of contemporary European artist Ana Tsarev, devoted to the life of flowers. Continuing and developing the traditions of paintings by Vincent Van Gogh, Postimpressionism, Fauvism and the representatives of Naïve art, Tsarev creates her recognizable, even unique style. Bright and concentrated colors, vigorous manner of painting and laconism of composition helps the author to convey the magnificence and diversity of flora of exotic countries that the artist had visited. The works by Ana Tsarev conquer the viewers by the power and freshness of painting and life-asserting apprehension of the imposing and boundless world of nature.
