The exhibition of young Finnish artist Viggo Wallensköld is the first presentation of his artworks outside Finland, where he is well-known. Female image is the leitmotif of his creative oeuvre. The artist takes into account experience of European masters of the 1920s and the 1930s (Balthus, Edward Hopper, the late artworks by Pierre Bonnard) with their cold colour range and stationary composition with one or two persons of slightly stretched proportions.
