The Russian Museum

The Life Scenes of the 19^th Century exhibition demonstrates works of the Russian genre painting of the mid 19^th — early 20^th centuries from private collections in Moscow and St Petersburg. The exposition presents little known and rarely exhibited paintings by Vasily Pukirev, Konstantin and Vladimir Makovsky, Illarion Pryanishnikov, Leonid Solomatkin and other prominent masters of Russian fine arts.
