The State Russian Museum presents the solo exhibition of the Moscow artist Natalia Grigoryeva. The exhibition consists of 41 paintings and 15 works of graphic art such as landscapes, still-lifes and portraits. Natalia Grigoryeva is a realistic artist. She prefers such genres as still-life and landscape. Her drawings from nature are structural, emotional, sonorous. Remaining sensitive to tradition the artist manages to avoid stylization. The glow of grass and flowers, cosiness of interior, traveling impressions are Natalia Grigoryeva's favourite themes. The artist depicts people rather rarely. Her vivid painterly world is full of harmony of nature. Natalia Grigoryeva graduated from the Academy of Press (Moscow Institute of Polygraphy), studied at Institut Parisien de Langue et de Civilisation Francaises, Paris and worked on probation in the school of design in Nuova Academia di Belle Arti, Milan. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists. Natalia Grigoryeva designes books and book series, booklets, calendars, catalogues, magazines. The show was supported by Vnesheconombank.
