The State Russian Museum presents the exhibition, timed to the bicentenary of the Nicholas Academy of Engineering. The former residence of Paul I hosted the academy in the early 20th century.
The exhibition acquaints with the documents, medals, insignia and costumes as well as poorly explored activity of military engineers - artistic creativity.
The works by M. Rezvoi, N. Zatsepin, V. Klemm and K. Trutovsky are executed in various techniques (painting and graphic art) and genres (portraiture, genre scenes, battle painting and landscape).
