Children against terror is team project of the State Russian Museum and Ministry for Culture of the Republic of North Ossetia — Alania. It was conceived soon after the tragic events in Beslan, September 2004. The project included a drawing contest among the students of art schools in Ossetia and two exhibitions called The Children of Ossetia Draw.
The opening of the exhibition was dated for The International Day of Child Welfare on the 1st of June 2005 in the exhibition hall of the House of Arts in Vladikavkaz. The best works are exhibited in St Michael’s (Engineers) Castle of the State Russian Museum.
