On the 29 th of April the exhibition of the Moscow artists Yury and Yelizaveta Grachev is opened in the Marble Palace of the State Russian Museum. It comprises 17 graphic works, 18 painterly works by Yury Grachev and approximately 10 works by Yelizaveta Gracheva.
The exhibition starts with the early abstraction works by Yelizaveta Gracheva and continues with early works by Yury Grachev. The climax of the exposition — painterly and graphic works of the American period. Images of New Yorks, sketches of the trumps, city slums made in black-and-white gamut. They reveal the sense and real content of the modern world. The last room is dedicated to the late works by Yury Grachev.
