The exhibition marks the seventieth anniversary of the birth of Andrei Yakovlev, honoured artist of Russia and winner of the Repin Prize. The artist depicts the events of the early twentieth century, introducing us to both the rough and tender faces of the Russian north and those who helped to build the Baikal-Amur Railway. The exhibition shows paintings from the collection of the Russian Museum.
