The exhibition displays more than fifty works of art by modern Cuban artists, including paintings, objects and mixed media. While some of the artists are already familiar to art connoisseurs from the Ludwig Museum in the Russian Museum (Luis Gуmez Armenteros and Belkis Ayуn Manso), most are exhibited in Russia for the first time (Tomбs Essуn Reid, Fernando Rodrнguez Falcуn and Tonel). The show is curated by the Ludwig Forum of International Art (Aachen), Ludwig Fundaciуn de Cuba (Havanna) and the Peter and Irene Ludwig Foundation (Cologne).
