Iya Kirillova subtly reflects the problems of female creativity in her oeuvre. The "handmade" nature of her one-woman show embodies the idea of the versatility of female art. The cakes based on the artist's designs will be submitted for the approval of young and exacting viewers. The show has a common ring with Mikhail Larionov's theory of "everythingness"; Larionov believed that anything could be a work of art, including cookery.
