The exhibition devoted to the tercentenary of St.Petersburg showcases about 200 paintings which most thoroughly depict the main ways of development of the Russian fine art during these three centuries - starting with D.Levitsy and K.Brullov and later P.Filonov and K.Malevich. The exhibition, which includes works of artists of academic classicism, painters of the "Silvery age" and of the beginning of the XXth century, presents the most characteristic features of the Russian art and peculiarities of St Petersburg school of arts.
