The Russian Museum

For the first time the collection of works by Russian avant-garde masters was introduced to Western audience. In 1920ies it was a part of the Museum of Artistic Culture large collection. In the exposition were presented the works by P. Filonov, K. Malevich, V. Kandinsky, M. Larionov, N. Goncharova, P. Konchalovsky, I. Mashkov, R. Falk, A. Kuprin, V. Tatlin etc. In total there were exhibited 65 paintings and 50 drawings from the Russian Museum funds.
