In the summer of 2010 the Russian Museum in common with the Saint-Petersburg social charity Russian Museum Palaces Restoration Fund, Charity Foundation of His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent and the Union of Gardeners of Russia will hold the exhibition-contest "The French Garden on the Shores of the Neva River" within the framework of the "Imperial Gardens of Russia" annual International festival.

St. Michael’s Castle
The painting by Stepan Shchukin (?) "The portrait of the Emperor Alexander the First" (1806) was acquired for the State Russian Museum with the financial support of the Evrofinance Mosnarbank. The museum is expressing the sincere gratitude for the patron for assistance.
